Russ Allen is the Founder and CEO of the K-Solv Group LLC, a conglomerate of companies spanning chemical distribution, environmental response, renewable fuels, safety supplies, and oilfield services. With a keen entrepreneurial spirit, Russ began his journey in 1997 by establishing K-Solv Inc. on a small property along the Houston ship channel. Over the ensuing two decades, he meticulously cultivated his ventures, gradually expanding their reach and impact.

Under Russ’s leadership, K-Solv Chemicals and K-Solv Maritime evolved into thriving enterprises, earning a reputation for excellence and innovation in their respective industries. Leveraging his astute business acumen and a steadfast commitment to growth, Russ embarked on a series of strategic acquisitions, diversifying the K-Solv portfolio to encompass energy, industrial, and environmental sectors.

Today, the K-Solv Group stands as a testament to Russ’s vision and leadership, comprising eight dynamic businesses operating nationwide and employing nearly 400 individuals. Among its notable subsidiaries is Garner Environmental Services, a renowned emergency response provider lauded for its swift and effective interventions in disaster-stricken areas across the country.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Russ remains deeply engaged in philanthropy, dedicating his time and resources to various local nonprofit initiatives. An avid equestrian enthusiast, he actively participates in the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo as a board member. Additionally, Russ champions environmental causes through his affiliations with business and charitable organizations, advocating for sustainable practices and conservation efforts.

In recognition of his exemplary leadership and community involvement, Russ was appointed by Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry in 2024 to chair the Ernest N. Morial New Orleans Exhibition Hall Authority Board. A proud graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Industrial Distribution, Russ is married and is a father to three accomplished children.

Camille Whitworth is a 25-year professional journalist and creator/CEO of her media company, Media by Design, which specializes in public speaking, media consulting, commercial production and media coaching.
